Block Storage Volumes are replicated within our storage platform to protect against component failure. This delivers high availability, durability, consistent and low-latency performance.
Disk Volumes can be created in seconds and can easily be scaled up or down. Once created these volumes can be attached to a CorpCloud Server. You can then create a file system on top of these volumes, run a database or use it as you would with any other block storage.
CorpCloud also provide the option of Snapshots on your Block Storage volumes. These incremental snapshots or copies can be automatically scheduled and allows you to restore your data to a given time should your data be compromised.

CorpCloud Snapshots
Snapshots gives you the ability to capture a point-in-time image of your storage volume. The Snapshots are stored incrementally so only the changes are saved each time.
Snapshots can be used to restore data to a given point in time or you can use them to expand your disk volume. For example you can create a new enlarged volume from a snapshot and then attach it to your server. From a DR perspective Snapshots can also be stored in a different region for example the US or Europe, but seamlessly transferred back when needed.
